Very happy with the purchase from Amazon.com. The best price I can found online.
This LCD has been installed in the master bedroom just above the door. It’s the biggest size LCD that can fit the area. I am impressed with the quality of Samsung Electronics and I even bought a Samsung blue ray player to match it. Samsung "Anynet" works well across both units. virtually you can just use TV remote to handle all.

This was the first HDTV I have ever bought. Had been looking for something to replace my 12yr old Panasonic TV for the longest. Did a lot of research before deciding on getting this TV. Wanted something that was big enough to replace my 32in but wasn’t too big for my room which a 40in or bigger would have been. 37in was just the right size and the right price for a full HD.

Well first and foremost this is a good tv for a good price. The colors and picture is amazing especially if you are going to watch tv and movies with it. One downside is that they seem to have a high chance of having Backlight Bleeding(parts of the screen are brighter or lighter than others) but that common with all LCD tv’s.

DO NOT BUY THIS TV IF YOU PLAN ON USING IT FOR GAMING!!!!!!!!
That is exactly why I purchased this tv, it has such great reviews because most people use it for movies or tv, for that its fine BUT NOT FOR GAMING!. I got this TV for Christmas and I am now currently returning it because it just cant play games. DONT LET THAT GAME MODE FUNCTION FOOL YOU…IT LITERALLY DOES NOTHING.
The problem with is is that it has SEVERE ghosting..meaning if your playing a game (especially FPS) and you move with any speed at all the images double up so it looks really blurry. Especially in dark (dark as in, in the game dark) rooms.
For example if you are playing rock band and your singing or something and the words are scrolling on the screen, they are EXTREMELY blurry and will give you a headache in no time.
Again if your not planning on using it for games this tv will do ABOVE AND BEYOND what you need. Otherwise DONT BUY IT!

After doing extensive research about HDTV’s both visually and with online reviews the hands down winner was Samsung.The picure and sound is simply stunning and Samsung customer service was very helpful AND they spoke clear English.The main reason I didn’t even look at Sony’s was all the very negative reviews about their customer service.
Trust me Samsung HDTV’s are the cream of the crop.

Bought this as a gift. Great picture and Amazon’s price beat Sam’s Club by $100. The remote and menu with this TV are very intuitive and easy to use…even easier than the settings for my Sony. The swivel base is a nice touch.
