I ordered two of theses cable for my home entertainment center. They have worked great so far.

I have only used with 1080i, I don’t have a 1080p source.

I have displayed a black screen at 1080i and no sparkles or any other artifacts were visible.

I am very pleased with the results. I would have given it a 5 star rating but the cables seem a little thin compared to much more expensive cables.

I’ve had this for about two months now and I bought this together with Onkyo ht-s7200, briteview cinematube, and a sauder wall mount furniture. I also bought an inexpensive cheetah wallmount which I used to mount this to the sauder furniture. At first, I felt the TV was too big, I got a bit nauseous staring at it but I found out that it was just too bright. So after a couple of adjustments, it was easy to look at.

The TV is not really 240hz, the software only projects a 240hz but still the picture clarity is very good. Rated high in consumer reviews so I am glad I bought this one. The only thing I wish it had is an automatic picture adjustment to that if scene is in 4:3 it would automatically adjust to 16:9. There are a lot of features which I don’t really use that much. Viewing angle is ok although it reflects some image from my window.

It’s a perfect blend to my new Onkyo home theater. I enjoy watching movies again.

Toshiba REGZA 55ZV65OU is a very good 55 inch LCD 1080P HDTV.It has clearscan 240. My wife told me to buy it, because my old Toshiba 44 inch HDTV was so bulky. This will be wall-mounted. The pictures are great, sound is good, and it’s easy to set up. The sharpness is good, even at an angle. My dogs brains’ can process the pictures at 1080P. The first week, they would bark at the intruders on the screen and look behind the set to see what was going on. Sometimes they sit on the couch with me to watch TV. I would buy it again. It came quickly, undamaged, with a minimum of fuss from Amazon. No taxes or shipping fees made it an even better deal.

For some reason the DLNA is not fully functional. While the some videos play fine on USB stick, the same videos will not play from the DLNA home server. Other movies on the home server play fine. I’ve notified their tech and I am supposed to hear back from their level 2 tech soon…like two weeks ago….still no resolution.

First thing I checked was stuck/dead pixels….TG all pixels work fine. The menu system is really slow and a bit cumbersome. The picture quality which is the heart and soul of a TV is great…hence the four stars…but not a perfect product yet…needs more firmware refinement…and I wait.

Would I recommend this? I recommend you wait and see if they get the DLNA fixed…otherwise pass…

I just got this TV a few days ago, and it is absolutely driving me nuts. While the picture clarity is amazing (may be the best I’ve ever seen) it has one issue I just can’t get over (especially noticeable while watching movies). It makes images “pop out” like 3D, but has a cookie cutter 2D look. Good movies suddenly look “cheesy” like a B movie. I turned down the backlight setting and changed the picture mode to the movie setting which helped a bit, but it was still terrible. Another smaller issue is that it blurrs from time to time on fast action scenes. The sound quality isn’t very good either, so if you buy this TV, make sure you have a good sound system. My husband found the TV bothered his eyes, but I did not experience any eye fatigue. Although I hated this TV, I still gave it 3 stars because of the amazing picture. I will be returning this set and will either try a standard LCD, or hopefully fix my Samsung DLP(which I love). A big plus is the LED tv’s are extremely energy efficient(which was one of the reasons I chose to buy it). I will definitely consider buying one down the road if they are able to fix the “cookie cutter” look on future models. If it weren’t for this serious flaw, I would love this TV.

I believe that this Samsung 40 inch LED HDTV should not even be called a TV. It’s so much more, and the amazing picture is unlike anything I’ve ever seen on a mere TV. Add to it the ability to access the intermet (YouTube, Blockbuster, etc), and you have a multi-function visual experience in the guise of a ‘TV set.” Once I updated the encryption method on my wireless router, the hook-up was a snap. You must use WPA. WEP won’t cut it. Viewing a Blu-Ray disc is an amazing experience. Everything is unbelievably clear. Even watching a classic b&w movie on TCM is an almost 3-d experience. Well worth the investment!!!

This is all based upon my opinion… Samsung has done an excellent job at producing the 8000 series LED TV. The picture quality is mind blowing. Everyone who has view my LED TV goes away with their mouth still open… I’ve read all the negative things about the Samsung 8000 Series LED TV. There are times you and I might get some bad products, but it up to the manufacture to make good on their products… Upon receiving my LED TV without any adjustment, the picture quality was AWESOME. I looked at the four corners for lighting and didn’t see any… I spoke with a Best Buy Rep. and he showed me what causes the light to shine from the 4 corners. It all because people have gone into the settings and adjusts some features and the light shines out… He did a demo for me and there it was plain as day… So basically I have never seen the light shinning from the corner on my TV… Over all this is the best TV I’ve ever view and you can’t go wrong in buying one… My opinion, go out and buy one, and believe me you would be one Happy Camper that you did… I thank Amazon Customer Service for all their help and the TV was delivered on time… I give Amazon a thumb up on their service… Way To Go Amazon….

Great picture, nice brights, nice look, and nice gaming. Everything about this TV is awesome except for two things. The 240Hz doesnt really seem like 240Hz at all, it just seems like the 120Hz. I dont notice any difference.

Also, when watching a dark movie, the LED lights on the side are visible through the screen like a mist, especially seen around charcoal areas of the screen. But when watching sports, bright tropical movies, day movies, or game shows, it is not noticable at all.

This LED-edge TV has by far the worst, most uneven back-lighting I have ever seen on any TV or monitor. On anything approaching a dark screen it literally appears as if there are bright mini-mag lights shining from every corner in towards the center of the screen. Even those are widely varied in shape pattern and intensity.

They are more than bright enough to interfere with normal viewing and glaringly apparent in any scene which has a black background. Friends who happened to be here when we set it up and turned it on noticed the ‘weird corner-lights’ immediately.

I did update the firmware to current, no change or improvement at all in the awful back-lighting.

I checked the LG55LH90 today for comparison – a full LED-lit TV, 55″ and there is absolutely zero visible back-light bleed, on a black screen the back-lighting is beautifully uniform in all respects. The picture is better, as the uniform LED’s can darken in darker images and light more in lighter scenes, somewhat replicating the deep blacks of plasmas.

Beware the Samsung UN55B8000 unless having the thinnest TV is more important than actual picture quality (why?) and in my opinion or now common sense, be wary of edge-LED lit screens overall. You definitely want to see and check it before buying one, not easy to do in most store environments as even significantly uneven back-lighting may not appear in the brighter lights of a store or in the usual TV store demo modes.

The images/screen really are gorgeous on this TV and if it were not for the severity of the back-lighting issue, it would be a winner, hands-down. It handles fast motion very well with no tearing or blurring that we could find and has “oh wow” clarity and definition. Crystal clear. Sound is ok and fine for TV speakers.

As for the Internet features, it’s really not worth paying any extra for on this TV – you are given Yahoo widgets to use and navigate with and it’s just not impressive to use – clunky and one nag prompt after another to do or agree to this or that when all you want to do is go online.

The remote is enormous but laid out well and the buttons are fairly large so it’s very easy to use as is the menu system in the TV.

I expected it to be programmable to use one instead of my Bose audio and DirectTV remote – as far as I can tell it is not.

Sadly my Samsung UN55B8000 is going back to Amazon and I am going with an LED-fully lit LG. My experience with uneven lighting is that it grows significantly worse with use over time.

The loop mouse pointer is innovative and pioneering when it comes to mouse pointers and media control. It has an ergonomic design when held. Easy to use: just insert the batteries, insert the adapter then abracadabra. You can control movies and click on files.

Unfortunately, after less than a month or so, it started having problems. It’s getting hard to point to the correct location where the pointer should be. The adapter became loose, unable to transmit signals to and from ny computer hence a non working loop mouse. If you’re not careful in handling the loop, you’ll end up having carpal tunnel.

I’m looking forward to a lighter and much better loop.

The Loop mouse works very well except for some minor quirks the most aggravating of which is the fact that you eventually mimic a contortionist when you are using it. Every time

the pointer encounters a screen edge, it re-centers, and if you carry on past the screen edge, eventually you find your self pointing the mouse back over your shoulder and around

your ear in order to move it around the screen. For a person who talks with his hands a little practice and thought must be put in to manipulating the mouse or you are going to wind up more entertaining to your audience than you wished and for reasons other than you intended. Too bad it does not have a centering button. Without a centering button, it is not worth 105 dollars. It is not as usefull as a Wii remote which requires you to point at the sensor bar, or the multifunction PS-3 controller.

The design is cool. For anything other than media viewing I’d like to see a key or function that represented “enter.”

My motor skills aren’t quite what they used to be and this device is harder to obtain precision control than a regular mouse. Also, my hand gets tired gripping the device. I think a flat slab like a Wii controller or a regular TV remote might be easier over a longer period of time.

I can watch TV on my PC from further away than a regular mouse would reach. I can operate the device from under the covers when I’m watching TV in bed.

All-in-all it’s worth if for a gadget fan like me, but probably not for everyone.

Having read the glowing reviews, we decided to buy a unit to replace the remote control on our PC/TV setup in our workout area. We expected to be able to use the Loop to control the computer remotely outside of the Windows’ Media center.

We’re returning the unit. This technology is cool but we don’t think that it’s ready, especially not at the price we paid for.

Here’s what we liked and didn’t like:

1) Given the ergonomics of the ring and the material of the left-click/right-click buttons, we found it was really hard to double-click on one specific spot. What constantly happened was that the mouse pointed pointer would move between the two clicks resulting in either two distinct clicks or a click-and-drag. While we could get it to behave properly if we steadied our arm and hand carefully, we need a remote control, not a high-precision device to be handled with care.

2) On numerous occasions, the mouse cursor would drift once its own. That is to say, if we didn’t held the Loop steady, the cursor would still drift to the left. We figured something might be wrong with the sensor.

3) The USB dongle for the receiver was of shoddy quality. When inserted into USB port, we found that we had to tap-it/nudge-it/push-it just right for the contact to be made and the PC to recognize it. The problem happened on multiple computers whose ports other USB devices had no problems using. We concluded that the dongle itself was defective although we did successfully position it once in a way that worked for an evening.

4) Our ultimate goal was to use the device while walking/jogging on a treadmill. The device is too sensitive for this making it impossible for us to use it successfully while in motion.

Were it only for #4 above, we would have returned the device without complaint. Were it only for #3, we would have thought ourselves unlucky and asked for a replacement. However, looking at all 4 problems, we think the product itself is at cause: its manufacturing, and possibly even its engineering, are lacking.

On the plus side:

A) We loved that the drivers are already on Windows Update. Plug the dongle in and Windows will do the rest. No need to download and install drivers. While this is a nice quality, it does not suffice by itself to make the product worth buying.

B) Ease of use. This thing really is simple/trivial to learn and master.

For now though, We’ll keep our cash and wait for v2 or v3.

Good reliable TV. I mounted this TV in my motorhome although the instructions from Sony state that the TV should not be installed in a moving vehicle. I mounted it to a wall mount and it works just fine. Good sound and picture. The only drawback is that I move my motorhome often and the TV autotune takes up to 50 minutes to do an Autosearch to reset available channels in the area.

My old set took only about 5 minutes. Otherwise we love the set and would recommend it.

I purchased this television six months ago. I do not have cable and use an antenna. This tv has a sturdy frame and a very clear picture as well as first rate sound quality for a small screen television; however, on at least one of the major networks this television loses sound and sometimes picture roughly every twenty minutes. I have to move the antenna and/or turn the set off and back on to restore normal broadcast. I have moved this set to different locations and even watched it at a friend’s house to rule out the possibility of interference. Nothing has helped. I spoke to a repairman and he says that there’s probably a problem with the tuning mechanism and that I’m most likely stuck with a lemon. I bought a Sony thinking that I would get quality. I was wrong. Foolishly perhaps, I just purchased another Sony. This time a 22-inch Bravia L-series. So far, so good. No problems.

How is it possible that a camera dock with 2, read em 2 usb ports does not connect to a computer? All it is is a charging station. Sure it connects to an HDTV but who actually does that? And whats better, get this, if you have it setup next to your computer and you try to connect the camera directly to a computer via the little usb cable supplied, you get a message saying that you must unplug the cable or pull the camera off the charging dock. The Kodak HDTV dock does not playback edited Kodak Camera video, (splice, trim or cut), even when using their Kodak EasyShare software editor. Kodak has informed me that they would probably issue a firmware up-grade for the HDTV dock. Don’t hold your breath as I have been working this issue since early November with no real commitment.

I purchased a Kodak Easy Share 14 Megapixel Camera.I had alot of promlens keeping my battery charged.This was a lifesaver.I keep my camera on this dock when not in use.Always have charged battery.I also veiw my pictures on my HDTV.LOVE LOVE LOVE..Thank You Kodak…Yost211
